On a lighter note, the American Idol finally ended. Racking in a recorded 97.5 million votes, the new American Idol is David Cook. One of the two Davids in the final. It would be refreshing for the 17 year old David Achuleta to win as he won the hearts of so many, but he would be too American Idol material to win it. So perhaps a change would be good. Archuleta who gave his rendition of ‘Imagine’ which captured hearts of millions across the globe was a firm favourite throughout the show, but perhaps what he need was a little more enthusiasm and charisma in the show instead of depending on his charm and voice which carried him this far. Cook, the more imaginative and creative one pretty much figured it out from the start. And he did win deservingly.

David Cook Rulessss.. i think he deserve it coz he was performing so well throughout.. at least he don't try to sing a song like the original, always improvising.. his version of Collective Soul's 'The World I Know' was so moving... well done David Cook....
