Di kawasan pantai yang banyak mayat di situ terdampar tiada cara lain yang baginda buat. Maka Raja Singapura mengarahkan orang yang ada disitu terus ke tepi pantai berbaris untuk dijadikan betis masing-masing. Namun usahanya gagal. Seorang demi-seorang daripada mereka mati ditikam oleh ikan todak. Semua orang takut dan tiada harapan lagi kerana selagi gus takut dimurkai oleh Raja Singapura sebagai penderhaka kepada raja. Maka ada seorang budak yang berusia 10 tahun yang bijaksana bernama Hang Nadim. Dia terus pergi untuk menghadap raja yang berdiri di situ. Raja Singapura terus mengemukakan cadangan lain kepada Hang Nadim. Maka ada cadangan yang baik bahawa elok kita bariskan batang pisang untuk kita jadikan kubu. Akhirnya baginda mengarahkan orang yang ada di situ terus meninggalkan pantai untuk mencari batang pisang untuk dijadikan kubu. Orang yang ada di situ terus gembira apabila titah baginda disambut dengan penuh sorakan dan mula meninggalkan pantai. Mereka terus ke kebun pisang untuk mencari batang pisang lalu dibawa ke pantai. Beberapa jam kemudian batang-batang pisang yang ada di situ terus dijadikan kubu. Kubu akhirnya siap dalam masa yang terdekat.

Tidak lama kemudian kebanyakan ikan todak telah menyerang semula dan akhirnya ikan todak telah tersangkut pada batang pisang. Rakyat Singapura yang melihat kejadian itu disambut dengan penuh kegembiraan dan sorakan penuh. Apabila ikan todak berhenti menyerang orang ramai yang ada di situ mula ke pantai lalu membersihkan ikan todak yang durjana itu. Singapura akhirnya bebas dari serangan ikan todak. Baginda telah memuji kejayaan Hang Nadim menumpaskan ikan todak lalu baginda menjemput Hang Nadim ke istana untuk penerimaan anugerah kepadanya.

Sementara itu di istana, kebanyakkan pembesar tidak suka dengan Hang Nadim kerana apabila dah besar nanti dia akan merampas kuasa baginda dan akan memerintah Singapura pada suatu hari nanti. Raja Singapura telah mengarahkan pembesar supaya membatalkan istiadat penganugerahan dan diganti dengan perlaksanaan hukuman bunuh. Dengan mengucap salam ke atas ibunya, Hang Nadim mula pergi ke istana untuk menghadiri istiadat penganugerahan tetapi ada yang tidak kena apabila pengawal istana terus menangkap Hang Nadim. Keadaan menjadi tegang apabila dia bukannya ke balai penghadapan tetapi diseret ke tengah halaman. Tanpa berlengah masa lagi baginda mengarahkan petanda supaya melaksanakan hukuman bunuh ke atas budak itu. Anak kecil mula menjerit kesakitan apabila ditikam oleh sebilah keris lalu mati. Begitulah tadi cerita Singapura Dilanggar Todak.

Out of the 3 at least 2 have cases of corruption been suited and can lose their position. Thus their credibility is ZERO.
And lastly a gov with only 3 maj + there are only indepedant.. The stability itself is in question.. Maybe next month all 3 will jump ship again.
What to do? Have a new sowrn in ceremony again?

JusticeBoa, surely you must brainless or clueless. Please read back all the statements done by Anwar Ibrahim. BN presented the anti hopping law which was not supported by Pakatan. Yes, Rakyat not in favor of hopping but Pakatan was in hope of getting BN MP's and Adun to hop. This is shown by Pakatan acceptance of Dato' Nasa hopping into PKR.

I don't know dumbass like you keep repeating of PRU 13th. You keep telling don't waste Rakyat money and yet you are asking government to spend money to hold a new election when it was clear that BN have won. Just because Pakatan lost doesn't make it right to waste money to have a new election.

THE CRISIS IN PERAK IS INDEED COMICAL. IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT THE BARISAN NATIONAL IS DESPERATE FOR POWER. BUT FOR THE RULER TO HAVE NOT USED HIS UNUSUAL COMMONSENSE IS UNFORGIVABLE, ESPECIALLY AFTER HAVING HAD SERVED AS THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE SUPREME COURT.

LET US FACE THE FACTS. THE MALAYSIAN CONSTITUTION IS A ‘CONTROLLED’ SUPREME PIECE OF LAW. AS SUCH, IN PERAK, THE RULER HAS NO UNCONTROLLED POWERS.

THIS MEANS THAT THE RULER CANNOT LAY RASH HANDS UPON THE ARK OF SCHEDULE 8 PARA 1 (2) OF THE FEDERAL CONSTITUTION, WHICH PROVIDES THAT THE RULER ‘MAY’ ACT IN HIS DISCRETION AMONGST OTHER MATTERS IN THE APPOINTMENT OF THE MENTERI BESAR OR WITHHOLD THE CONSENT TO DISSOLVE THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY.

HOWEVER Sch.8, PARA 1 (1) & PARA 1 (A) INSERTED BY THE CONSTITUTIONAL (AMENDMENT) ACT 1994 (A885), S, 44 PROVIDES THAT THE RULER MUST ACT ON THE ADVICE OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OR A MEMBER THEREOF ACTING UNDER ITS GENERAL AUTHORITY‘ SHALL ACCEPT AND ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SUCH ADVICE’ THAT MEANS, THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OR GENERAL AUTHORITY.

IN THE CURRENT COMICAL CRISIS, THE MENTERI BESAR ‘FIRST’ HAD AN AUDIENCE WITH THE RULER TO DISSOLVE THE STATE ASSEMBLY. THE RULER SAID HE WILL THINK ABOUT IT.

WHAT WAS THERE TO THINK. THE RULER IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOVE POLITICS. HE IS REQUIRED TO ACT ON THE ADVICE OF THE EXECUTIVE. HE DOES NOT. SO THE RULER HAS FAILED TO ABIDE BE THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND.

THE RULER IS REQUIRED TO ACT UNDER THE CONSTITUTION. HE DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO INTERPRET THE CONSTITUTION, AND THAT IS WHAT HE HAS DONE, WHICH IS GROSSLY WRONG IN LAW.

AS THE CONSTITUTION IS THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND IT MUST BE INTERPRETED BROADLY. IN PUBLIC PROSECUTOR-V – DATUK HAJI HARUN BIN HAJI IDRIS {1976} 2 MLJ 116 THE LATE ABDOOLCADER J SAID:

‘THE COURT STANDS AS ARBITER IN HOLDING THE BALANCE BETWEEN INDIVIDUALS AND BETWEEN THE STATE AND THE INDIVIDUAL AND WILL NOT HAVE THE SLIGHTEST HESITATION TO CONDEMN OR STRIKE DOWN ANY STATUTORY SHELTER FOR BUREAUCRATIC DISCRIMINATION, ANY LEGISLATIVE REFUGE FOR THE EXERCISE OF NAKED ARBITRARY POWER IN VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE CONSTITUTION AND EQUALLY ANY EXECUTIVE ACTION PURPORTED TO BE MADE THEREUNDER.’

When Dato Nasa annouce his jump to PKR, there was no mentioning that Dato Nasa should resign as Adun by PKR. In fact Anwar Ibrahim stated that there is no reason for Dato' Nasa to resign.

But when the 2 Adun from PKR jump, suddenly in all fairness that a re election should be held. Why the double statements.

If Pakatan was sincere, it would have annoucen that an election should be held when Dato Nasa jump. But then when it is of benefit to Pakatan nothing is said.

maaf, tapi pada perkiraan saya, sdr.sjankan silap di pernyataan ini; sultan perak bukanlah membentuk kerajaan yang digemari baginda, tetapi sultan sendiri mesti adil lalu akur dengan undang2 negerinya sendiri (yakni mengikut kefahaman sultan sendiri dalam undang2 negeri baginda), iaitu menteri besar yang mengetuai kerajaan eksekutif negeri itu mestilah seorang yang mendapat sokongan majoriti para adun yang telah dipilih rakyat.

apabila 27 adun bn + 1 adun bn-yang-publicly-announced-keluar-dari-bn-untuk-masuk-pkr-tetapi-11-hari-kemudian-melompat-semula-masuk-bn + 3 adun "bebas" merupakan suara majoriti yang tidak mahukan ir.nizar, maka nizar kena melepaskan jawatan mb.

cuma persoalannya ialah:
1. bagaimana kaedah perundangan negeri perak untuk menzahirkan suara majoriti para adun itu? adakah cukup dengan hanya berkonvoi ke istana dan seorang demi seorang masuk mengadap sultan memberi kenyataan menolak nizar?

atau adakah para adun perlu mengusul dan mengundi menolak nizar hanya dalam sesi dewan?
jika ya, siapa memanggil sesi dewan? mb sendiri? speaker dewan? majoriti adun? atau sebilangan minima adun sahaja? ataupun sultan?

2. undi tidak percaya adalah terhadap mb. mb seorang. bukan kepada keseluruhan kabinet. maknanya usul tidak melibatkan para exco yang mb telah lantik.

seperti kejadian idris jusoh di negeri terengganu naungan agung sendiri. idris seorang tidak diterima walaupun dia ketua bn negeri dan bn menang majoriti. bukan exco bn lain-lain tak diterima.

begitu juga kejadian shahidan kassim di negeri perlis. beliau juga ditolak walaupun beliau ketua bn negeri. tetapi hanya beliau seorang. tidak melibatkan adun bn yang lain yang menang yang pastinya memang menagihkan tempat2 sebagai ahli kabinet negeri.

jadi, adakah undang2 perak memerlukan exco yang dilantik oleh nizar juga secara otomatik kena ikut bos mereka meletak jawatan? (mb adalah daripada parti yang mendapat majoriti kerusi adun, atau dipersetujui oleh majoriti adun walaupun adun2 yang sepakat itu tidak dari 1 parti yang sama). atau adakah exco2 asal itu masih sah menjadi anggota kabinet negeri selagi mereka sendiri tidak meletak jawatan?

seseorang yang jelas dengan perundangan negeri perak mestilah tampil menjelaskan persoalan2 rakyat ini dengan sejelas2nya tanpa ada was2, tanpa ada kekosongan/gap, tanpa ada loopholes, tanpa ada kesamaran dan kekalutan.

sultan azlan shah serta raja nazrin sendiri merupakan yang arif dalam perundangan negeri mereka. tetapi titah baginda setakat ini masih mengundang persoalan2 pada kekaburan di atas.

mungkin mahkamah perundangan lah merupakan forum terbaik mencari penjelasan ini.

selagi persoalan ini tidak terjawab, selagi itulah keseluruhan perak dalam kekusutan. dan ianya dirasa di keseluruhan negara juga.

Berikut adalah komen yg selalu kita dengar dari mulut mufti, taatlah kamu kpd Allah, rasul dan pemimpin. Mufti Perak ini lupa bahawa didlm Islam itu juga telah digariskan sifat yg perlu ada pd pemimpin, mengapa tidak dijelaskan sifat sifat seorang pemimpin secara terpeinci mengikut pandangan Islam. Kenapa perkara ini tidak pernah dihuraikan oleh Mufti. Tak kan yg ini mufti tak tahu kut? Sudah pasti rakyat akan taat kpd pemimpin kalau mereka spt sahabat nabi iaitu Abu Bakar, Omar, Osman, Ali dll, kerana kita semua maklum mereka ini betul betul beriman kpd Allah dan mereka juga sangat takut kpd Allah. Mereka ini tidak takut pada manusia pencacai. Islam itu didahulukan waima ianya melibatkan keluarga mereka sendiri. Nabi Muhammad (s.a.w) sebagai contoh pernah mengatakan, kalau Fatimah anakku itu mencuri nescaya aku potong tangannya. Ini bermakna Islam dan hak Allah itu didahulukan. Setahu aku hanya dua perkara menghalang seseorang itu masuk syurga iaitu derhaka kpd ibubapa dan syirik kpd Allah. Tidak dinyatakan derhaka kpd pemimpin itu boleh menghalang seseorang dr memasuki syurga. Sebabnya ada bermacam perangai pemimpin, Firaun juga pernah menjadi pemimpin. Ada 7 perkara yg memudahkan seseorang itu masuk syurga dan neraka, Contohnya, peniaga yg mencukupi timbangan dan pemimpin yg adil lebih dekat kpd syurga manakala peniaga yg menipu timbangan dan pemimpin yg zalim lebih dekat kpd neraka. Selagi pemimpin itu tidak mempunyai ciri ciri kepimpinan yg digariskan oleh Islam, selagi itulah mereka tidak akan berlaku adil kpd pimpinan mereka.

Dulu masa d sekolah rendah ada seorang ustaz mengatakan perkataan Yang MAHA Mulia, Yang MAHA Agung dan sbgnya hanya layak digunakan oleh ALLAH. Dan yg mulia, adil, agung dsb. ini sebenarnya layak utk seorang insan sahaja iaitu nabi Muhammad (s.a.w). Malaikat penyoal kubur tidak memanggil seseorang dgn gelaran YB, Dato, Tan Sri dsb apabila disoal nanti, yg membezakan manusia disisi Allah adalah darjat ketakwaan mereka kpd Allah.

Tidak semestinya mereka yg mulia pd pandangan manusia itu adalah mulia disisi Allah. Ada manusia yg hina pd pandangan manusia tetapi adalah mulia disisi Allah. Wahai Mufti anda fikirkan lah sendiri dan jangan anda juga jadi pencacai kpd manusia yg tak bermoral. Semoga Allah mengampunkan kesalahan kita semua. Mereka yg menjual agama juga dipandang buruk disisi Allah. Kalau ingin memberikan nasihat, berilah secara betul dan tidak berselindung. Berapa ramai ulamak zaman dahulu yg sanggup dipenjarakan kerana tidak mahu memberi fatwa mengikut kehendak raja mereka? Ulamak zaman dahulu berebut tak mahu jadi pemimpin sebab tanggung jawabnya besar. Jika raja ada hak keatas rakyatnya, rakyat juga ada hak keatas rajanya. Bukankah Islam telah mengatakan sedemikian. Ibubapa mempunyai hak keatas anaknya, anaknya juga mempunyai hak keatas ibubapanya. Kenapa hak rakyat utk mendapatkan keadilan tidak didengar.????Sudah terang lagi bersuluh bahawa rakyat tidak dilakukan secara adil dlm hal ini. Rakyat juga mempunyai hak untuk mendakwa pemimpin mereka waima raja sekali pun diakhirat nanti. Hari pembalasan pasti akan tiba.

Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib sesuatu kaum itu, kaum itulah perlu mengubahnya. Adakah salah jika rakyat ingin mengubahnya berpandukan kpd maksud diatas. Telah lama mereka dizalimi oleh pemimpin yang zalim dan mereka ingin mengubahnya. Salahkah mereka??? Wahai sekelian mufti, tidak ada lagikah perasaan takut kamu kpd Allah dan Rasulnya???.Muhasabahlah diri kamu, kamu sudah senang tiap bulan masuk gaji, gaji pun dah banyak, baru ni dapat lagi duit maal hijrah, kami rakyat yg susah bagaimana?????

Wahai Dato Mufti yg mulia, arif lagi bijaksana, saya ada satu masalah, katakanlah saya telah dipilih oleh penduduk di satu kawasan untuk mewakili mereka bagi parti ABC, kemudian saya katakan kepada mereka saya telah bertukar ke parti CDE dan saya tidak lagi menyokong ABC, adakah saya berlaku adil kpd mereka yg memilih saya??. Tuan mufti pun jawab, ia memang adil. Salah wahai tuan mufti, saya yg belajar dekat pondok pun tahu bahawa itu adalah tidak adil di sisi Islam. Yg adilnya mesti dibuat undian semula. TGNA pun kata kena undi semula. Gua tarak respect sama lu sikalang mufti.

Home Minister has given warning!!!!

OHOR BAHARU, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- Stern action including detention under the Internal Security Act (ISA) could be taken against anyone who incite or create trouble that could affect security in the state of Perak.

The warning was issued by Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar regarding action by members and supporters of the Pakatan Rakyat who were unhappy after losing the majority in the State Assembly and failing to retain the government leadership in Perak.

"Pakatan Rakyat can take the matter to court if they are dissatisfied but don't take their dissatisfaction to the streets to the extent of jeopardising security," he said.......

Lately, there is an increasing use of CURRICATURES to depict certain MALAY LEADERS with obvious intention to INSULT, to BELITTLE, to MAKE FUN and perhaps indirectly to PROVOKE the Malays.

We have seen how the BALD HEAD of Syed Hamid has been a subject of FUN to many PR bloggers. Faces of Syed Hamid have been superimposed on animals. Lately, curricatures to make fun of our DPM is on the increase. I'm sure this type of INSULTS would not be tolerated in countries like China, or even Singapore. Nobody in Singapore would dare to superimpose Lee Kuan Yew's face on animals.

Let us be honest about this. There could be cultural GAPS among races. And let me be frank that MALAYS ARE HURT by curricatures meant to belittle or make fun of MALAY LEADERS.

Ghosts of 13th May 1969 has long left us. The picture of a Chinese youth holding placard with provocative writing 'MELAYU BALIK KAMPUNG' has long been erased from the memory of most of Malays.

The Assembly appointed the MB and a vote of no confidence in the house will only dislodge the MB. It now appears, the Sultan took it upon himself to over ride the State Constitution which is supreme...even without a BN majority. The frogs can do a reverse jump again, so what then?

With regards to our incoming PM Najib, let me put it that Dr M has all the while been supportive of Najib. I would dispute any claim otherwise.

Nevertheless, Najib is a human being like us. He is not free from weaknesses and flaws. But to reach the level of leadership, in UMNO/BN, and the country, he must be better all round than many of us.

And I believe, he is not free from being subject of WILD ALLEGATIONS to discredit him. His main antagonist is none other than Anwar. Frankly, Anwar has planted seeds of hatred against Najib, including the Altantuya stories.

Najib or rather 'Najis', a better word to describe the next Prime Minister of Malaysia and I believe he would be the most shortlived PM holding the PM office in the history of Malaysia judging by the latest development in the takeover of Perak State assembly by sheer 'Najis' dirty tactic thru defection of PR state assemblymen & woman thru money politics, a gimmick which is very well versed and familiar with the BN authority.
Najib(Najis) had made a mockery of demorcratic system in the Perak state authority takeover of power and lost his dignity and integrity as a worthy and caring PM and he will lose the confidence of malaysians nationwide and I forsee the BN would lost control of power in the parlimentary to the PR in the next general election not by a slim margin but it would be a landslide victory as the people are getting smarter and wiser,you can buy out one or two defectors but you cannot buy out a whole lot.
To the PR, this maybe a small setback but it was a good lesson to be learnt and a good experience to be shared by all malaysians so next time whenever you vote,pls vote bravely and make sure you give your overwhelming support,this time give the 75 % mandate in all state assembly and parlimentary and you can be rest assured BN 's money and monopoly politics will meet its doomdays and Najis n his wife would be sent to the jail for the sins they committed best known to themselves and 'Allah yang maha Kuasa'.

For the past 5 days, news about frogs are every where, every corners and on every medias.


So, i thought, why not get some frogs from the market and cook it. After all it is those "frogs" which cause all the havoc in Perak.


But much to my disappointment, for the past 5 days, i cant find one single frog in the market. So on the 5th day, i ask the frog traders.... Mister, what happen to the frogs... how come, for the past 5 days i cant even find one single frog.

Who gave you the idea that the former MB Nizar was ransacked?

First and foremost, the office is not Nizar's personal office. He was given the benefit to use the office when he was MB. Since he no longer command the majority support in the Perak Assembly, he has to give way to the NEW MB.

As stated by the Perak SUK, Nizar was supposed to come and collect his 'personal belongings' yesterday morning. Prior to his coming, the room was tidied up and his personal belongings CAREFULLY packed up. If it was ransacked as you claimed, Nizar is entitled to make police report.

And, what make you think UMNO is scared of SNAP ELECTION? UMNO has face up even to more difficult situations before, such as to OPPOSE the Malayan Union mooted by the British, negotiating for independence of Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, and gone through series of elections. To face up the 'disintegrating' PR is only 'chicken feed' to UMNO/BN. Infact, UMNO had left it to the Sultan to decide.

By the way, its a bit unfair for you to think that the 4 defecting Assemblymen are determining the life of 3 million Perakians. Prior to the defections, the Perak DUN was like this: BN 28 seats(UMNO 27), DAP 18 seats, PKR 7 seats and PAS 6 seats. Looking at this, was it fair that the BN, with almost 50% of seats were NOT REPRESENTED at all in the previous State Government?

However, with the 4 defections, BN now commands a 'slim majority', like the PR before. In short, the 4 defectors only made up the number to the 'already strong' BN.

Skyfair, me too damn regret to declare holiday for my office and even told my staff that our Sultan is a very respectable man and he is a very knowledge and fair man. I even told them to read about him and how his son convey such a wonderful message to we rakyats so they deserve our respects in return thus lets celebrate the Silver Jublee. The worst is I even told my staff to raised the flags. I felt like how stupid and bad eye sight and foresight I had.

Royals must regain people's trust
Sultan and son get threatening e-mails after asking chief minister to step down

MAKE no mistake, the political crisis in Perak is not only about who controls the state legislature, and who is left on the sidelines.

It is also a litmus test for Malaysia's royalty - whether they can play the role of honest brokers in resolving disputes in a country increasingly fractured by politics and racial strife; whether they can be the balm for a more divisive and polarised nation; whether their pronouncements will have a calming effect.

The early signs emerging from Perak are not promising. The previously unsullied reputations of Sultan Azlan Shah and his erudite son, Raja Nazrin Shah, have been the subject of scorn and ridicule.

Since yesterday, members of the public have sent e-mails to the royal household's website, imploring the sultan to dissolve the state assembly and call for fresh elections.

By noon, the e-mails grew more threatening and damning. They coincided with the announcement that the sultan had asked the Perak Mentri Besar to step down in view of the fact that Barisan Nasional had gained control of the state assembly.

Here is a sampling of the e-mails sent.

Zambri Hussin wrote: 'I have lost all respect for the institution of the Malay rulers in Perak.'

Dr Phillips John wrote: 'People in Perak are not going to forget the decision you made today.'

Chan Wai Phing wrote: 'Tuanku, so sorry to see you have failed the test of your own words, before God and before your subjects. You have let three unprincipled scumbags decide the fate of the whole state.'

Arguably, because of the political temperature, this was always going to be a no-win case for the royal family. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

For BN supporters, the decision was always crystal clear: Once you have the numbers, you should own the House. For Pakatan Rakyat supporters, the central issue was this: Voters of Perak put Pakatan Rakyat in power and only they should determine the next state government.

Great expectations were placed on the shoulders of Sultan Azlan Shah and his son because they have - through their speeches - positioned themselves as the conscience of Malaysia; the voices of reason and logic and guardians of the Federal Constitution.

They have earned the respect of Malaysians because they have not been afraid to tackle combustible issues of:

The judiciary

Sultan Azlan Shah: 'Nothing destroys more the confidence the general public, or the business community has in the judiciary than the belief that the judge was biased when he decided a case, or that the judge would not be independent where powerful individuals or corporations are the litigants before him.'

Raja Nazrin Shah: 'In the last two decades, judicial independence and integrity have eroded. The result is a lack of confidence in the judicial system and the complete disregard for the law by some quarters. These are dark stains on our honour and reputations and they have the potential to weaken, if not destroy the nation.'

Good governance

Raja Nazrin Shah: 'Only those who are capable, responsible and scrupulously honest should be allowed to serve in positions of leadership. Those who are inefficient, incompetent and, most importantly, corrupt, should be held in absolute contempt. It was very important, he added, to have leaders who were earnest in building unity and did not resort to religious or ethnic posturing to further their careers.'

Sanctity of the federal constitution

Raja Nazrin Shah: 'The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and guarantees the rights of every Malaysian. Get a copy of the Federal Constitution and read it... the integrity of that document must be protected at all cost.'

But it is a different ball game delivering a comforting speech to the converted at a Bar Council dinner and actually making a decision which affects the lives of people.

The Sultan said that after meeting all the 31 assemblymen yesterday, he was convinced that Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin had ceased to command the confidence of the majority of the state assembly members.

He said that he was guided by the Perak Darul Ridzuan State Constitution in reaching his decision to ask Mr Nizar to step down and turn down his request to dissolve the state government. He may be right, but legal experts are already challenging the soundness of this decision.

In the days ahead, the sultan or the regent would do well to come out and explain the rationale behind yesterday's outcome and tackle some of the issues raised by constitutional experts.

They have to convince the doubters that the Perak royal household acted in good faith and played the role of honest brokers.

Otherwise, some of the mud being tossed their way today will certainly stick and the Perak royal household's esteemed position in the country could very well be compromised.

THE man at the centre of the Perak crisis is no ordinary monarch.

He was, at various times in his life, a top sportsman and a top judge.

Sultan Azlan Shah studied law at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 1953.


After his return, he entered the civil service and in 1965, at the age of 37, became the youngest high court judge in Commonwealth history.

In 1982, he became Malaysia's top judge - the Lord President of the Federal Court.

Former Court of Appeal judge KC Vohrah said that prior to his appointment, Sultan Azlan Shah had already established himself as a very distinguished judge.

Constitutional law

An area which he excelled in was constitutional law.

Mr Vohrah said he described complex principles with elegant and soul-lifting language, reported Bernama.

Sultan Azlan Shah's successor as the Lord President, Mr Mohamed Salleh Abbas, said the sultan was noted for his fair-minded decisions and is a man who listens carefully to both sides of the argument.

'He is a good man and a good judge who doesn't talk much, and even the little he says carries a lot of weight,' he says.

Another top judge, Mr Abdul Hamid Mohamad, describes the 81-year-old monarch as a serious man when comes to responsibilities.

'When he wants something done by a certain time, he wants it done and to illustrate this I will tell you of an instance when I was the deputy registrar in the late '70s,' Mr Abdul Hamid told Bernama.

'At about 9am, Sultan Azlan Shah called me to give instructions of what he wanted done. His Highness asked me to draft a speech (That was the first time he asked me to draft his speech). His Highness wanted it by noon on the same day.

'I requested that I be given until 4pm the same day as I had about 20 cases fixed for me to hear in chambers that morning. His Highness replied politely, 'If you have no time, make time then.'

Mr Abdul Hamid managed to complete the task and handed it over in time.

'I could see His Highness smiling when he read the witty parts of the speech. He was happy with it and that was the beginning of a long and lasting friendship,' he adds.

The sultan's childhood friend, Mr N S Selvamany, 83, said he had a passion for hockey.

He led the Perak state team from late 1946 to late 1949.

'He was indeed already a king where Perak hockey was concerned,' he said.

Sultan Azlan Shah became the president of the Malaysian Hockey Federation in 2005. He remains a member of the International Hockey Federation, representing Asia.

A top international tournament, the annual Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, is named after him.

How come a MB change so fast in just 1 day? i mean for example if u wan to take over a company, and if u have the same percentage of shareholder of both parties, we also need to hold a general meeting right? That wat u mean Cyber bla bla?

HIS Majesty, my respect for you. People decision need to be considered before the decision were made. People have choosen those representative as their prefered candidate in view that they can do something better which was not done by previous government(BN). Wise decision is always crucial especially when it comes to people's interest.

Mohd Nizar and the p*gs in Pakatan wanted to play dirty tricks by dissolving the state assembly when they lose power. However BN move faster and stop Nizar from dissolving the state assembly. Nizar knows if the State Assembly were called for a meeting and a vote of no confident is motion in the Senate, then he will definately be disgracefully remove from his post as MB of Perak. Pakatan have the bad intention of not handing the government to BN which legitimally became theirs when the 4 Adun gave their support to BN.

Furthermore in an election, by the constitution, an Adun is elected by the people and not the party. Party is merely a vehicle for the person to finance and to show his coalition for the forming of the government. Therefore having an Adun to signed an un dated letter of resignation after he is elected by the people is immoral and disgraceful. Pakatan was acting like a bully and taken the freedom from the people to choose their leaders.

The un dated letter is not valid by law. So how could Nizar called for the dissolved of the State Assembly. What is the reason to called for the dissolvement of the State Assembly? Is there an emergency status where a dissolvement of the state assembly is called for? In the legislative, Nizar have no rights to called for the dissolvement of the state assembly just because he is going to lose his position as MB of Perak.

The Sultan have acted in good faith by denying Nizar intention of dissolving the state assembly due to his personal interest rather than the people interest. As was his evil intentions, the Sultan acted in good faith for the people by asking Nizar to resign or be removed from office.

Nizar in his term as MB of Perak have proved to be in efficient and hard headed. He by his own conduct have acted against the Federal government instruction to hold the award of land pending the approval of the Federal government under the land code. Nizar again was incoherent in his behaviour as MB of Perak. Nizar have no right to dissolve the state assembly prior to getting the Sultan approval showing his rudeness to the Sultan. Nizar deserve to be jail for being derhaka just like Anwar which deserve to be sula for his sodomy.

Pakatan and its supporter have and always will be blaming BN for their own ignorants. Nothing new there. They have adopted the way of Anwar Ibrahim to blame everything to another person.

But facts will remain that majority if not all of Pakatan supporters mainly comprised of lazy, useless people who doesn't want to work hard for a living. They hope for the government to provide and to spoon feed them for a better living.

But for me personally, I think Pakatan supporters are just mainly Anak B*abi Haram.

Buddha palm is very to big to measure, your palm and my palm is hardly enough to cover our 2 bumps. We must pray that our judiciary system that is supposed to have been cleansed stays clean and stick on tight to the enforced law.

Quietly, I'm quite fascinated by your postings. I find that you are HONEST with your opinion. The problem arise when an HONEST person believes in DISHONEST INFORMATION.

When you talk about 'our wealth', I believe you are referring to our nation's wealth. How to measure our nation's wealth? You know better than me what are the FUNDAMENTALS that are use to measure our nation's wealth, whether the wealth increases or decreases.

Even if there is some elements of corruption, I wonder how that will reduce our nation's wealth, unless Malaysians are transfering their monies overseas.

What make you exclaimed, 'where has all our wealth gone'? Please elaborate.
