The situation got out of control when some of the 200 residents there started voicing out their opinion and swearing. The meeting was initially meant to find a solution for the proposed plan of relocating a temple, which is currently located in Section 19 to Section 23. Shah Alam MP Khalid Samad and Batu 3 Assemblyman, Rodziah Ismail were also there during the dialogue. Since the residents voiced out their opinion, Selangor government was forced to delay the plan for relocation of the century-old Maha Mariamman temple. Following the strong opposition by residents, Selangor MB had to announced such decision on the spot as a form of respect to the residents. However, Abdul Khalid insisted that the issue had to be resolved sooner or later as it had been dragging for years. Government will then consult PKNS (Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor) and the Section 19 temple committee to find a perfect spot to relocate the temple to satisfy all parties involved.

The MB of Selangor even held a meeting with the residents of Section 23 to resolve the issue in a proper way, but these uncivilised residents tried to making chaos even threwing chairs and shoes at the end of the meeting.

We dont need an astrologer or a psychic to predict the future actions concerning the " Cow Head " and " Temple Relocation Issue ". Let me submit my "predicions " . MB Selangor will have closed door talks with Indian Religious Heads and NGO Heads. During the discussion, a " compromise " will be offered by the MB that is, accept his new offer of another temple elsewhere . He will further promise that he will pursue the matter at a later time when things have cooled down.

Some will voice disatisfaction , but end of the day for the sake of " peace and harmony " will eventually agree. MB will think he has done the Indians a great favour, Indian Heads will think they have been very " understanding and tolerant ' and may even expect a pat on their backs. GREAT ! Now lets look at the actual scenario. Once again Indians would have been humiliated , discriminated and deprived of their basic human needs even to pray . Why is it the victims have to compromise, and not the offenders ? Indians have compromised their shirts, their pants or dhotis, and now all they have left is the loin cloth ( komanam ) . Just because some parties feel that the loin cloth is hanging down a bit too low, a compromise is offered to cut " just a bit " off from the loin cloth. Of course come next election campaign, they will promise to give you back your dhotis. Whats the big deal when Indians would willingly "compromise" and give it back to them if the need arises. Dont get me wrong. I am not for violence or instigations. But I believe that human beings must have a basic principal in life. Religious matters are not something to compromise about. What if someone next says that the Murugar statute at Batu Caves is too tall and obstructing the views and that we must compromise to have it removed or replaced with a smaller one? Well ? Make noise , write in to blogs , complain and call names at each other, and finally compromise when the political head steps in ? This is not a question of land. Residents only own the house and the land they live on. How come they are deciding on what should be done on the government land ? Just a pack of simpletons can cause a major decision to be reversed? And MB Selangor says the temple must be relocated in order to satisfy all parties involved ! Who ever said that all parties will be satisfied ? The whole Indian community must give up their right to pray in order to satisfy a few narrowminded and unreasonable residents ? Any good reasons behind this decision ? Isn't there a mosque in the same residental area, with prayers over the speakers 5 times a day, first one being 5.00 am.? If we can tolerate other religions , why the double standards. Honestly , what has population got to do with religion? So what is the law in Malaysia regarding the practice of religions ? As a piece of advise, nobody, I repeat NOBODY , should interfere in the practice of any religion in the country.This is a multi racial country and everyone has to accept all the religions practiced here. Please do not humiliate other religions and let not unqualified humans decide on where and how we should pray.That is every humans birthright. So, Residents of Section 23, please get your facts right. You are telling GOD that HE has to move because you are living there. What if HE decides that you should leave and HE should stay? Can you compromise with GOD to satisfy you? If so go ahead. No one is above GOD, immaterial what religion he belongs to. I guess some people must learn the hard way. Its a matter of Man Versus GOD . this issue is just politicised by the BN gov, in fact we are living in this harmonious country and even being a non muslim, if a mosque is being built next to my house i would not mind, same goes for a hindu temple, because its simply a place for its devotee's. It will be nice if all of us can respect each and everyone's religion, Stop thinking about ourselves and think about others, a little sacrifice wont tarnish but will make you a better person.

we malays complaint why hindus need so many temples. as if they want to build as many temples whenever they like. muslims have long tolerated this. it is not about umno or pas or pakatan. but for all muslim to be cautions. the indins are divided into different caste, but that is their business. however, they cannot built individual temple to meet the needs of different caste in one location or kampong or city or housing area. this is bad. and this is what had happened after for a long time muslims have tolerated in the name of unity.

This is not about how many indian temples .... it is about ONE indian temple which is 150 years old and it is going to be demolish and now the state goverment is trying to find one new location for land replacement .... it is not about adding new indians temple. mai, too be fair, if the section 23 is not a good location ... fine, let the section 23 people file a complaint, but WTF for cutting a cow head and humilate the hindus .... and look at how those barbarians act when YB Khalid try to reason with them. 16 arrested at Hindraf candlelight march in KL

MCPX The vigil, organised by rights group Hindraf, began with a march of a 100-strong crowd from nearby Masjid Jamek. The participants, who were singing songs and carrying red and white roses and candles, called for Malaysians to respect one another's rights. However, before they could reach Dataran Merdeka, the crowd was confronted by two dozens police officers. The cops, who stopped the marchers at the junction of Jalan Parliament and Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, ordered the crowd to disperse. The cops then began counting from one to 10 (right), and launched the arrests soon after. Among those arrested were Hindraf leader S Jayathas and Uthayakumar's wife, S Indradevi. Uthaya held on all fours Uthayakumar, were among the last few individuals to be arrested. He was nabbed together with Indradevi while walking away from Dataran Merdeka. Several police personnel pounced on Uthayakumar until fell to the ground. Once on the ground, he was held on all fours and rushed to an awaiting police truck. In the wake of the arrests, participants began leaving the area at about 8pm, barely 15 minutes after the vigil started. But some 30 minutes later, two more were arrested - Shanti Waytha Moorthy and Waytha Nayagi - some distance away from Dataran Merdeka while sending out alert SMSes. Though never stated explicitly, it is understood that the vigil tonight was a reaction to the ‘cow-head’ demonstration last Friday by a group of Shah Alam residents opposing the relocation of a Hindu temple to their neighbourhood. In contrast to the heavy-handed dispersal of vigil participants tonight, no action was taken against the ‘cow-head’ protestors. Police double standards According to Hindraf leader in exile P Waythamoorthy, the aim of the vigil was to “repair the damage to the centuries-long brotherly Hindu-Muslim relations in the wake of the cow-head protest in Shah Alam”. In an immediate reaction, he condemned the arrest and accused the police of practising double standards in view of the ‘cow-head’ demonstration, which has caused public outrage, especially among Hindus. “It is ridiculous that the Muslim extremist ‘cow-head’ protesters who were behaving in a violent manner, delivered fiery speeches promoting racial hatred and insulted Hindus were given full police protection. “Whilst the Hindraf supporters who were armed with unlit candles and roses were violently arrested, bundled and taken into police lock-ups,” said Waythamoorthy in a statement late this evening. Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur police chief Muhammad Sabtu Osman said that 13 men and three women were detained. report abuse

I am told that anak-anak haram like you khinzirs deliberately attempt to disrupt prayers held at the temple by playing Islamic chants and prayers on loudspeakers from a couple of houses in the immediate neighbourhood at exctly the prayer times of the Hindus. These loudspeakers are made to face the temples. When the temple authorities could not take it any longer they appealed to the Khinzir Toyol govt for an alternative site. The Hindus there did not behave like the khinzirs and anjings that came to the SUK building on that Friday. They did not throw the heads of p*gs into the lawns of the neighbouring house that was blaring the loudspeakers. In fact they behaved like true human beings. The other good, right thinking Muslims would have been proud if those bastards who brought the head of the cow had shown restraint like these Hindus temple authorities had shown. They will not be ashamed of you p*gs as they are now. Can I ask you 3 anak khinzirs why these fellows bought houses there knowing full well that there is a 150 year old temple there ? FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WITHOUT AUTHORSHIP

The Authorship of any Government has to be premised on the type of policies that are formulated which is generally acceptable to civil society. In particular, it has to ensure that the fundamental liberties of the people who voted and put the Government in office are not eroded. Under these circumstances, the management of, and the formulation of policies and the implementation of such policies and the affairs of any Government, cannot and does not appeal to divine inspiration. Nor can such policies be enforced selectively, especially in diverse society, like the likes of Malaysians. That is the reason the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has an Advertisement for the world, as “Malaysia is truly Asia.” The Leaders of the Government are expected to be clever and astute politicians. They have to tailor their policies which are for the wider good and acceptable, by the society at large. Such policies should be implemented, without discrimination and on the basis of equality, fairness and justice. Looking back of what has happened since 1970 when the New Economic Policy(NEP) was first introduced, and over what actually happened, the whole NEP policy sounds like a CARICATURE. Leave aside, what the ethnic Chinese, Indians or the other races and Foreign Investors think about the NEP, but even the ethnic Malays( Malayu which means runaway in Jawa) have come to be of the realization that the NEP has been a “ludicrously exaggerated representation” of the Government, which has only benefited the ethnic Malays who are closely connected to the Leaders of the Government. To put it simply, the Government has miserably failed, knowingly or unknowingly to look over their shoulders and to ensue, that at the implementation stage of the NEP, the right things were done. They failed, to argue upon all fronts. They failed and continue to fail to argue on the economic situation, the education system that provides the substance and the skill for the employment market, the various infrastructure projects that have been planned and built and on how it is to be maintained and upgraded, the public transportation system, the health and sanitary conditions, the current administrative practices versus new theories that may have to be introduced to enhance and improve upon the delivery system for the general well being of the people who pay the taxes to keep the Government machinery functioning, the duties and responsibilities of the Local Authorities and how are they being executed and the current prevailing economic situation and its significance in relation to the non economic enrichment that has resulted from previous Governments policies and a host of other factors, that have a direct impact on the daily lives of the people in general. The Government has absolutely disregarded meritocracy. It has substituted it with, MEDIOCTITY resulting in a majority of the ethnic Chinese, Indians and those classified as others, not wanting to join the Civil Service. Hence, the Civil Service comprises of 90% or more of ethnic Malays. No doubt this will include the Government Linked Corporations. Then we have the public sentiment, against three main Institutions. Whilst the Royal Malaysian Police Force(RMPF) and the Malaysian Anti Corruption Agency(MACC) would come directly under the Executive Arm of the Government, the Judiciary is required under our Federal Constitution to be Independent of the Executive. This is owing to the fact that there are to be a separation of powers for any democratic society to be a functioning democracy, that is, there would be a Parliament, the Government which is the Executive and the Judiciary which is Independent and that is why the term “JUSTICE IS BLIND” emanates. But in Malaysia Justice is Not Blind. From the above discussion of the Authorship of Najib’s Government, it is clear to all right thinking people, that Najib’s Government is like a Ship without, a ballast, by which we mean that Najib is not very clever nor is he an astute politician. If anyone, thinks to the contrary, then the Question that begs to be answered is: why introduce a 1Malaysia Concept( which is still born) when the Federal Constitution provides for Liberty, Equality, Freedom of speech, assembly and association, Freedom of religion and the Rights in respect of Education without Discrimination. To put the argument in its right perspective, let point out a few short comings in his leadership, as portrayed by the main stream print and broad media and the alternate media. Before being appointed as the Prime Minister, Najib carried out an unforgivable act against the people of Perak, that is the Rape of the Perak State Assembly, resulting from which the people of Perak are left in the lurch and without a proper State Government. Now, Najib wants to take back the State of Selangor. This had resulted in the mysterious and untimely death of the late Teoh Beng Hock. On 28.08.2009 the whole world with astonishment and bewilderment watched the video of what transpired after Friday prayers at Shah Alam, when some 50 or more barbarians who behaved more akin to lunatics, acted out with the severed head of a cow which is considered sacred by Hindu’s and aggressively shouted out profanity, which were seditious in nature and further pronounced and declared, that they will start a civil war. Till to date of writing not a single barbarian has been arrested by the police. The irony is that the Home Affairs Minister Hishammuudin indeed found fit to have a closed door meeting with these barbarians, and thereafter issued a press statement, that he understood that these barbarians were “victimized” even though they were the aggressors. Whilst the cow head barbarians are roaming free, a group of ethnic Indians lead by P. Uthaya Kumar on the evening of 05.09.2009 carried out a candlelight vigil in Kuala Lumpur in protest against the controversial cow head demonstration held at Shah Alam. From the video on you tube the world can see how efficient were the INDISCIPLINED police force in arresting these peaceful people who carried out the vigil. The question in our mind is, how is that, that the police were hyper efficient in arresting a group carrying out a candlelight peaceful vigil and on the contrary the police became by standers and watched the lunatics with the severed head of a cow carrying out a violent demonstrating in front of the Selangor State Secretariat Building, and almost 10 days have gone by and no one has been arrested. This inaction by the authorities, is incomprehensible to all right thinking people. So, Najib, we the people have to be bold and frank to notify you that you are not clever nor astute as a Leader of your Government. Contrary, to what your spin Doctors advice you, we can see that there is no authorship in the administration of the Government. All that we can see, is that, you are hungry for power and are in a state of dereliction of your obligation as the Prime Minister of this Nation and are incorrigible and now want to carry out the Rape of the State of the Selangor State Assembly, and you may not succeed. As such, we will leave you with a poem of a British poet, painter and mystic, and we Quote: "When I from black and he from white cloud free, And round the tent of Godlike lambs we joy, I'll shade him from the heat till he can bear To lean in joy upon our father's knee; And then I'll stand and stroke his silver hair, And be like him, and he will then love me." From the above poem, you will note that you have no love for the community. Neither do we love or respect you. You have a hunger to destroy the soul of the community. Love is human emotion and it has no meaning to you. Plato called it DIVINE MADNESS. But on the contrary what we see and visualize from your 1Malaysia Concept, is, DIABOLISM. report abuse

LIKELY ONly about 6 percent were hindus at section 23 no wonders they make alot of fuzz about ...normally the crows.. in life experiences will cause alot of disturbances or homony..so i think the resident have rights..they hero yg ada peliak..i live in 93 pecent hindus..always encounters headache with their behaviour..if they can pukul the enforcement officers in public..beneath that scenario is worst..i prefers to have chinese neighbourhood than the black crows..

section 23 residebts voices to be heard and respected on majority at that areas,..... as i recalls back of the sentosa in klang wakil rakyat..who just returned from tamil nadu at that times said majority of their residents likely 95 percent (i dont what happening to housing quota applied by the goverment)...were tamils so they have more voices to said and haerd, so section 23 majority is muslim so their voice should be rspected also..

There was a bulky guy with pony tail who acted somewhat like a school kid. He removed the chair of one of the participant as he was sitting down. That guy and another who taunted the security force should be strip naked and put behing bars. They are the instigator and really tarnish the name of their own bangsa and agama.
