Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK) has been arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA) while Sin Chew Daily, Suara Keadilan and The Sun have all been issued show cause letters by the Home Ministry as reported by Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor, the Minister of Energy, Water and Communications. He said “The Cabinet has asked the ministry to direct MCMC to reinstate access to any blocked website with immediate effect. At the same time, it is asking MCMC to closely cooperate with the police, the Attorney-General’s Office and the Home Minister to monitor any website or blog to ensure that this does not contain seditious, racist or religiously insensitive remarks. Instead of blocking access to offensive websites, the Cabinet wants authorities to investigate and act quickly against the owners of these sites,†-Zen, MalaysiaToday Comments

The press is reporting facts when Ahmad made seditious and racist comment! Why is he not under ISA? Who is Home Ministry? Syed Hamid Albar! Who is Home Minister's boss? Bodowi lah. be wary of this guy "Yusri". He is paid by the BN to patrol the blogs and get feed back and sometimes double up as trouble maker. He is trying to fend anger so that people will take to the streets then his bosses can declare an emergency cos this is the only last resort to thwart DSAI 916. he is hoping RPK or PKR supporters lose their cool. RPK is arrest is imminent cos he is a stumbling block to evil plans of those we know who. The mad cow disease in penang was a very good example. Had not been RPK we wouldn't know the truth behind the whole incident. So keep our cool and let PR leaders do their job. We on our part dessiminate the truth to everyone in every corners of Malaysia because there are still many fellow malaysians who are not on the net or unable to be on the net. What i normally do is I will relate what's happening to old and young folks who are illiterate, people who are not hook to the net, the women folk around my kampung. I will tell them as much as I can. I live in a Kampung area where 70 % are Malay, 5% Indian and the rest chinese.

It never ceases to amaze me to witness such stark contrast between Malaysian Pro Government versus Independent thinkers come head to head on any debate only to see the big guns pull out their wild card (ISA) in a futile attempt to diffuse the situation.

A government which professes to be democratic on all counts, failing to acknowledge some of the fundamental laws governing ‘democracy’ – Freedom of Speech. How much longer can a dwindling majority government veto the dissatisfaction of its subjects? The answer is The Truth. Stand up and be counted. Stand up and force the issue. Stand up and make a difference. Cease and desist from futile expressions of dissatisfaction and disgust. Stand up and be pro-active! A government can only rule so long as its subjects allow themselves to be ruled. Transcend the boundaries of difference. Religion, race, colour : all distractions applied by governments of the past to manipulate, ‘divide and rule’. Sounds familiar? It is time for Malaysians to join the greater global community and be seen as part of the enlightened force. You are all one nation. One people. Born on the same soil, shared my countless others. It is therefore your right to inherit the future and learn from your past. A nation of countless possibilities, unlimited potential, a blend of east and west, a history of cultures and persuasions.
