Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, the managing director of Khazanah Nasional Bhd said that some RM11.4billion has been spent in the Iskandar Malaysia project. He said that this amounts to some 26.7% of the RM42.6 billion allocated since the inception of the southern corridor project in 2007. He also added that "Much momentum has been built in investment commitment in Iskandar Malaysia,"

Two months ago, when the media interviewed the Johor MB..." can you tell us, what is the progress in this Iskandar project".

Johor MB reply " i cant give the progress, because we are still in the planning stage "...." I can only talk about the progress some where next year ".

NOW after 1 1/2 of commencement of work in Iskandar... the MB still cannot give an answer on the progress... he said it is still in the planning stage. How could a mega project... after starting work for 1 1/2 years still be in the planning stage ?????????

Now, if the Iskandar is still under planning stage... HOW COULD RM11.4 billion spent be justified ???????

Will this be the next record breaking scandal.... a scandal to overtake PKFZ.... after all Umno loves record breaking...or shall i say... another record in our Malaysia Book of Record !.
