Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir, the Jerlun Member of Parliament slammed the opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for questioning the content in the speech made by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin when debating the motion of thanks to the royal address where Anwar claimed that the speech were full of praises for Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razka, the Prime Minister. He said “Although such speeches were normally drafted by the Prime Minister's Department, the palace would have the right to make amendments. Once the speech is read, it will become the address of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong,"

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the Deputy Prime Minister said that the elected Members of Parliaments who walked out of the Dewan Rakyat are not credible because they were denied their chance to debate any motions tabled in Parliament. He said The action to walkout when the Parliament was in session had also deprived them of an opportunity to voice concerns of the people at the Dewan Rakyat,”

Datuk Ibrahim Ali, the Independent Member of Parliament of Pasir Mas, who is the founder of the right-wing Malay group, PERKASA said that the AGM (Annual General Meeting) of the movement will go on despite the announced that the Sultan of Selangor will not be attending. The meeting is scheduled to take place on March 27 and the absence of the Selangor ruler will be seen as a major snub to the movement.

Datuk Seri Zahrain Hashim, the independent Member of Parliament of Bayan Baru slammed local news media MKini for providing information to Raja Petra Kamaruddin, the editor of MalaysiaToday.net about his trip to Washington last month with some top government officials which included the Attorney-general, Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department and the chairperson of the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission). Alongside Zahrain was Wee Choo Keong, the Wangsa Maju MP also from the PKR. Zahrain called the MKini source a ‘mercenary’ writer.
