Datuk Ibrahim Ali, the Independent Member of Parliament of Pasir Mas, who is the founder of the right-wing Malay group, PERKASA said that the AGM (Annual General Meeting) of the movement will go on despite the announced that the Sultan of Selangor will not be attending. The meeting is scheduled to take place on March 27 and the absence of the Selangor ruler will be seen as a major snub to the movement. |

Datuk Seri Zahrain Hashim, the independent Member of Parliament of Bayan Baru slammed local news media MKini for providing information to Raja Petra Kamaruddin, the editor of MalaysiaToday.net about his trip to Washington last month with some top government officials which included the Attorney-general, Datuk Seri Nazri Abdul Aziz, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department and the chairperson of the MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission). Alongside Zahrain was Wee Choo Keong, the Wangsa Maju MP also from the PKR. Zahrain called the MKini source a ‘mercenary’ writer.
