Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the Deputy Prime Minister has taken fresh swipes at the opposition led states of Selangor, Kelantan, Kedah and Penang saying that there has not been any significant impact since they came into power 2 years ago. He said "In fact, I receive many complaints particularly from the businessmen in the states ruled by the opposition, who were not happy with the excessive bureaucratic red-tape at the state level, whereas we in the federal government want to reduce bureaucratic red-tape," |

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the opposition leader has yet again issued a warning against members in the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) who put their self-interest above the party saying that if they cannot subscribe to the principles and agenda of the party, then they should just ‘leave PKR’. He said “Pakatan Rakyat is now stronger with the support from PAS and DAP...we will move on without errant members,” |

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the deputy prime minister gave his assurance that the soon to be launched NEM (New Economic Model) by the government will be in the interest of every Malaysian regardless of race and background and that various quarters will be consulted and have their views and ideas considered by the EAC (Economic Advisory Council) who is in charge of its preparation. |

Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, the Mentri Besar of Selangor has announced that the state government has allocated some RM50million in micro-credit loans to help the poor people in the state and that 10% of the state’s revenue will be given to the village committees or JKKKs. He made the announcement at the second anniversary of the Pakatan Rakyat’s administration of the state in Malawati Indoor Stadium. |
