Wee Choo Keong, the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) MP of Wangsa Maju might be landing in hot soup for his outburst on Lim Guan Eng, the Chief Minister of Penang. According to Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, the secretary-general of PKR, Wee might be referred to the disciplinary committee for his public criticism on Guan Eng. Those who are currently in the same situation include Datuk Seri Zahrain Mohd Hashim and Tan Tee Beng of Nibong Tebal and Kulim-Bandar Baharu respectively. |

Loh Gwo Burne, the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) MP of Kelana Jaya has denied rumours that he is going to quit the party and jump-ship over to a component party in the BN (Barisan Nasional). He also quashed the claims that the few other lawmakers in the PKR like Datuk Seri Zahrain Hashim of Kulim-Bandar Baharu, Tan Tee Beng fo Nibong Tebal and Wee Choo Keong of Wangsa Maju too would follow suit. He added that it was Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the de factor leader of PKR who requested for him to join the party and he would not abandon him at the hour of need where Anwar is currently on trial for alleged sodomy. |

Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad, the chairman of the Kelantan Umno Liaison Committee said that there will be no more further discussion about the so-called proposed unity talks by PAS with Umno because of PAS’ insincerity and that the Umno leaders are fed up with Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat’s inconsistency. He said “He would extend his gesture one moment, but the next, he would set impossible conditions. I think PAS is trying to make a fool of Umno,” |

Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, the Minister of International Trade and Industry has hit out at the Kelantan state government for their rejection of the compassionate aid given by the federal government citing that it is because of political factors and nothing else because the leaders of the state are not aware of the legal aspects of oil exploration in their claim for oil royalty. |
