Planning to apply for a credit card, beware of AEON Credit Service.

I would advise you not to apply any credit card from AEON and if you have credit card with AEON, I would suggest you to cancel the card immediately.


This is what happened to me since July 2009 when I received a credit card statement from AEON that shows Debit Adjustment of RM 335.44 billed to my credit card.

Called & Email to AEON to request for clarification on this debited amount. Replied from AEON is more then a month.

To my surprise, this amount of RM 335.44 was duplication posted in my credit card account in May/2007.

According to AEON, one of my cheque payments of RM 335.44 in Nov 2006 was posted again as a payment in May/2006.



First of all, how could AEON post a payment to my credit card account in May/2006 without any cheque?

Reason from AEON was, the same cheque was erroneously retrieved and posted again to my credit card and only discovered in July 2009.

Where is the control in the first place in AEON? Why this error only found out after more then 2 years? AEON never submit any audited account?

ya.. betul. AEON service ni lebih kurang ALONG cuma syrkt ni ada lesen je. saya mengambil barang dari kedai menggunakan AEON sevice.
Bulan lepas (jan.2010) saya ada masaalah kewangan.. memandangkan hari buka sekolah dan saya tak pernah lambat bayar. saya tidak dapat menjelaskan pinjaman pada bulan itu.( RM161.00 sebulan) jadi saya jelaskan pada bulan 2.2010. setiap kali dapat panggilan dari AEON. say memberitahu kepada pegawai AEON tentang masalah saya. tapi pegawai tu macam tak faham bahasa( saya guna bahasa malaysia). dan menyuruh saya bayar dengan segera. pada bulan 2 saya bayar RM370.00. pegawai dari AEON telefon dan menyurauh saya bayar sebanyak RM362.00 cuba anda fikir kalau 2 bulan pun baru RM322.00. jadi untuk interesnya adalah RM40.00.

yeah..i tottaly agree with all the complains about aeon credit card.my parents had problem with this card.when we first applied for the aeon credit card,they mentioned that it will not have goverment tax but in the end we had to paid rm50 for goverment tax.we did not even used the card and yet we have to pay for rm50.it's money!!

we,a good citizen managed to pay rm50 before the due date,which is 2 april 2010 but today(18 march 2010),we recieved a credit card statement that states that we have a late payment charge that cost rm5.56..are the aeon bank so poor till rm5.56 have to purchase?fyi.,we had cancelled the card and we have prove for it.what is wrong with aeon credit card?!

i hope malaysians citizen will not commit the same mistake that my parents had done.it's not worth it.though it's a small sum but rm5 could buy me a good lunch.
