I think the UMNO-PAS talks will:

- Bring political stability for Malaysians with a dominant Malay unity.
- Weaken Barisan National's multi-racial ideology & support.

I think miss P could be a gold digger. if she can get married to umno, she thinks she can have access to all the oil reserve, the gold reserve, the shares and who does not wants that sort of easy life ! the husband can then boast of his conquest to mr pr hahahaha

As you can gauge from the respondents at the UMNO-PAS dialogue, many are viewing the talks with apprehension. The same seems to be reflected in our "Sarawak Political Merger Polls"

Once the polls are "closed" we will analyse and publish the polls results ASAP.

UNMO-PAS talks will not bring about Malay unity.
It will erode UMNO multi-racial support.

Though both are predominantly Malays there are significant support from non--Malays.
Though both look the same but their ideologies are different.

UMNO is self-centred, wealth-centred and power-centred.
PAS is more people-centred, and religion centred.

Should there be a merger UMNO will be the dominant party and PAS will break up, most grassroots would not want to join UMNO, except for some leaders who are seduced.

It may also offend some of the non-Malay supporters of UMNO and cause then to leave BN.

Hey people,
It is not as simple as that, I think we should not be unduly trouble by all this talk. What is Umno giving up to merge with Pas, the DPM post to Pas ? Any of the other minister Post ? Supreme council post ? Image what other Umno warlords will feel about this ? And we have not even look at the Pas Grassroots yet, what do they think, after all these bad history between the two groups, breaking up in the first place and all those fights during all pass GE, god the list is endless, "join ? Over my dead body" is a comment that would not surprise me at all.
