My true story is abt a friend who wasnt allowed in a local U bcos qouta...he applied for a Sing. U n they replied accepting him with a scholarship application form...he graduated there...did well in Monetary Authority of Singapore but hit a glass ceiling...was told to change his citizenship to singapore...he didnt like it ...quit and headed morgan stanley HK...when he made enuff... he went back n married Singaporean wife...still stays in singapore...wat does dat tell u? Our cekap people cant be bother with quotas...they rather stay out...

Back to a more serious mode, yes Singapore government is actively taking Malaysian they think that is OK, for example, I work there also for more then 7 years, after 3 years I received a letter asking me to apply for PR, I ignore it, by and by comes a second one, worded same as the first, I also ignore it, then lord and behold comes a third one that says this is my final letter, if I do not apply for PR then forever hold my peace (that means if I do not apply for a PR, they will never allow me ever to apply for one ever). So I go and apply, then have to also apply for exclusion from National service and a whole lot of other things. Still holding the Singapore PR thing, but sometime ago I think (Cant remember) they sent me a letter saying something that I have to be actively working in Singapore to maintain my PR status, ha so far no follow up yet. maybe PR already cancel.

With the deteriorating standard of local lecturers in local Us, you better off of gaining up-to-date and competitive knowledge offshore. The local Us are accepting barely passed Malay graduates to become lecturers just to meet the 'colour' quota. The world is turning upside down.

I strongly encourage those who are talented to migrate other countries. Don waste your talent is this country who will only value bumi-pigs. Give your future children a better environment to grow up and shine. Not being shaded under the gloomy sky of Malaysia!

I consider me myself as a valuable talent studying in SG right now. So sad for Malaysia but a free gift for Singapore.

With all the talented ppl go to SG. That is the real reason why we are far behind SG in term of everything. Sad and hope PR will leads Malysia in next election.
