I wont comment whether Anwar is a good or bad leader here. What I am concerned is that there is too much expectation and hopes for Anwar to lead Malaysia to a new stage of prosperity. It is an unhealthy phenomenon to me. Will the problems be solved by Anwar if he really rise up to power? Too much expectation only leads to extreme disappoinment if what is expected is not being materialised. People will suddenly lose confidence in Anwar if he never deliver what he promised. And this may affect the people's morale, eventually hamparing our economic growth.

This is what happen in Taiwan now. Ma YIng Jiu was so popular before he become the president but his popularity dropped significantly after he rose to power.

Provided Anwar tread carefully and not be ditated by other factors like greed he should be alright

Hey would you rather have sleepy AAB lead for the next 10 years or so? At the moment we do not have a choice, it is DSAI or die. Until someone else comes along we are stuck with DSAI, for better or for worst, at least I believe that he cares up to a certain extend about us, as for sleepy head, he can go to hell where he belongs ages ago.

I think Anwar is the most capable leader for M'sia right now!

From his behaviour, you can see his COURAGE shining through the clouds of oppression. A lesser man would have been cowed into silence.
It would have been easier to adopt the motto,"if you can't lick 'em join 'em."
He could have taken the path of least resistance join the MOB and just be rich and comfortable and don't need to face the risk of imprisonment. But he just keep on declaring his goal.

He also has the BRAINS to match his courage. When he debate he just use very simple language to prove his point and is very touching becos he knows what lies in the heart of the common people like us esp. petrol prices going up, and he provides practical ways to help the people.

He has the CHARISMA to attract people maybe becos he is a good orator. He speaks very well in both English & BM and also got a great sense of humour can make the audience laugh.

He has the PASSION almost fanatical when he declare his good intentions to replace the incompetant leadership. At times I wonder why he want to scare them so much becos they might resort to desperate measures.

He has the INTEGRITY?? I don't know yet whether he will keep his promises but I think so. At least in a party with PAS and DAP, both with people-oriented and anti-corruption stance, we should have a good chance of fairness for all.

He has the STATURE of Mahathir whom nobody can deny was a great leader though he may have done many wrong things during his reign.

He has the vast experiences of running the country and would be a national treasure if we know how to appreciate him. Even Mahathir saw his great potential .

His MORALS? I really don't know, but even a fool would not believe SaiFOOL's story of consensual sex.
Anyway it is not an important criteria because we vote a PM based on the quality of his head rather than the behaviour of his bottom.

Hope he will be PM one day to bring REAL DEMOCRACY to Malaysia.
I hope all Malaysians stand by him through thick and thin just like his coalition leaders.

A person with his calibre is very rare. Hope every Malaysian consider this very carefully becos their fate could hang upon his fate.

Yes, sad to say DSAI is the best bet we have. I myself also do not fully trust him, but given the current situation we need a change and DSAI is really the only choice we have. For better or for worst we need to give him a fair go at it.

By election coming up, all who can support please do so, talk to anybody you know in Permatang Pauh, we need a change, before it is too late, if it is not already too late.
