Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said that if the Pakatan Rakyat comes to power, all the mega projects will be reviewed to see if they are necessary and if not will be scrapped. The projects he mentioned include the RM15.2 billion high-speed broadband project, double tracking and undersea cable project while those that benefits the people will continue. He said “The people have been suffering from the fuel price increase and yet the Barisan Government still wants to go ahead with mega projects. The Government has lost its sense of priority because a caring government should first look into the welfare of the people,”
